WINDOW TREATMENTS

Karin Miller is a window coverings industry veteran, and has spent much of her career focused solely on this product category. Her experience includes the development and marketing of hard window treatments, such as blinds,  shades and decorative hardware, and soft window treatments such as draperies, panels, valances, and roman shades.  She has worked for both manufacturers and retailers and has experience with upscale custom products and mass-produced ready made products. She has been involved in material sourcing and development, product design, merchandising and marketing.

Karin’s experience includes 6 years (1988-1994) with Del Mar Window Coverings (now a division of Levolor Home Fashions) as marketing manager and 6 years (1996-2002) with Smith+Noble as vice president, merchandising. Since founding Miller Merchandising in 2002, she has worked with several window coverings clients on a variety of projects.

In addition to product development and design, Karin offers consulting in the areas of product marketing, merchandising, sourcing, color line development and analysis.  She is also an experienced senior manager who can see the big picture and help develop overall product and company strategies for success.
